Mission Statement
The mission of New Beginnings is to guide and assist our clients and community in finding effective, creative, and
practical options to manage the challenges and difficulties they experience. We will accomplish this through sharing our experience,
skills and knowledge using a holistic approach of counseling, education and guidance; promoting community health and wellness; which
respects the uniqueness of each individual or group.

OUR STAFF
PADRA C. FRANCOIS, LCSW - Owner/President
Louisiana State University
Padra received her Bachelor of Psychology from
the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and her Masters of Social Work with a specialty in Gerontology at
Louisiana State University. She is also a Domestic Abuse Intervention Program (DAIP) facilitator. Her areas
of expertise include: work with adolescents, adults and families, depression, anger management, communication
skills, crisis assistance programs, case management, and administration.
ROCHELLE L. BOSSIER, GSW
Louisiana State University
Rochelle has a Bachelor of Sociology and a
Masters of Social Work from Louisiana State University. Her area of expertise include: working with adults and young
children with mental health disorders such as Bipolar Disorder, Depression, Schizophrenia, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder,
adjustment disorder and anxiety disorders. She also has experience with Employee Assistance Programs, case management,
and collaboration with multi disciplinary teams.
GRETA BROOKS-SORRELL, RSW
University of Tennessee at Martin
Greta has her Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work and Psychology from the University of Tennessee at Martin.
Her areas of expertise include: case management, assessments, and resource identification with children and families.
Greta also has experience with life skills groups with the chronic mentally ill. She works well with children and
families with behavior modification in home and school settings.
ERICA GUIDRY, MSW
Louisiana State University
Erica has her bachelor degree in Social Counseling from Our Lady of Holy Cross College in New Orleans, LA and her Masters
in Social Work from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA. Her areas of expertise include: individual, family, and
group counseling with children, adolescents, and adults with issues including parenting, depression, adjustment, ADHD,
juvenile delinquency, domestic violence, sexual assault, substance abuse, and behavior modification. She also has experience
in completing assessments and treatment plans and case management.
ALETHA N. MOORE, LCSW, CEAP
Louisiana State University
Aletha is currently working as a contract consultant for us.
